Toastmasters Program Graduates Nine!


Members graduate from Toastmasters International program

In The Spotlight

Nine members of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua recently graduated from the Toastmasters International, a worldwide nonprofit educational organization for the purpose of helping its members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills, and youth development program.  The eight week course was held at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua weekly, led by local Toastmasters members, Don Winn and Deb Westwood.  Members learned how to speak effectively in public and to have simple table conversations. 

Graduating members were Paul Macdonald, Randy Alejo, Bryan Deleon, Monica Hurtado, Lisa Roth, Shakya Wheeler, Angelica Aldava, Justin Bourque, and April McRae.  All graduates received a medallion and plaque.
 
Four members received special honors 
Most consistent presentations - Lisa Roth
Most improved Speaker -  Paul Macdonald 
Most organized speeches - April McRae
Best Impromptu speech - Monica Hurtado
